I have done my Diploma in Interior Design from Sir.J.J. School of Art, Mumbai.

I worked as an interior designer for a while. During my stint with Lokhandwala Builders, Santacruz,

I got interested in the field of Landscape design. Mr.Lokhandwala was a pioneer who introduced landscaped gardens 

to his residential complex. I worked on several landscape projects while working with them.

 

The firm Abhaas Landscapes was established in 2008.

 

Abhaas landscapes is a small boutique landscape design firm focusing on design of residential and commercial landscape projects. Our projects reflect both modern and traditional elements, depending upon the concept of the architecture. The finished work reflects the vision of both the client and the architect. We believe each project is unique and try to establish some character to the landscape that gives each project a distinct feel. 

We handle landscape design projects for several builders and architects. We have designed several terrace gardens, Podium gardens and Ground level gardens, Private residences, Commercial spaces and Industrial units, Townships. 

We have also designed several interior landscapes for show flats of builders.

Design philosophy: Bold - Different - Practical for the end users - Positive attitude to natural environment.

Our designs enhance the beauty and usability of the site at the same reflecting the personality and lifestyle of the client

There is no specific style to our designs, however, our designs are typically understated and always contextual. Good, thoughtful design is balanced with environmental impacts. Our goal is to combine the local ecology with the aspirations of the client, architectural elements, budgetary considerations and regional context, creating a response that will resonate with place and people. Overtime our approach has continued to evolve. 

We believe, it's our job as a landscape designer to find and then reveal the characteristics of each site in compelling ways.
